Invest sustainably in green energy, anywhere in Switzerland
Do you want to invest in solar panels with long-term attractive yields?
We offer you an asset-based, long-term impact investment opportunity in renewable energy which increases the proportion of green assets in your portfolio.
You can invest in setting up solar power systems on roofs that Solergy rents from real estate owners.
Your solar panels will earn you attractive return over the whole investment period of approximately 20 years, thanks to the latest improvements in solar technology, the general price development and the thoroughly selected projects.

You start earning with your investment from the 1st day of the operation of the solar plant, as soon as the sale of the produced electricity commences.

FAQ
In our model, each solar panel represents a co-ownership share in a solar plant. The price covers the proportional cost of the panels, the inverter, the cabling, the batteries, the installation and everything else needed to operate the solar plant so that it can produce electricity, from the sale of which we remunerate the panel owners over 30 years. This also explains why the panel price is different for every project.
The first step is a roof usage agreement. This is followed by our exact planning of the project, including the definition of the capacity and the financing need. Then we contact the owners with concrete investment options, and finally the external investors. The investment figures in our proposal are best-effort estimates, small adjustments can occur as a result of the detailed planning of the project.
The owners have unique possibilities to profit from a solar system on their roof, especially owners who also live in the building (tax benefits, cheaper electricity). These options are not available for external investors. That is why we offer the owners priority to invest. As soon as all owners have responded to our investment call, we open up the project to external private or institutional investors.
The numbers are approximate values based on publicly available information about the roof’s solar power potential. Once we have a roof usage agreement in place, we will examine the roof and the power consumption in the building and finalize the numbers.
Yes, there is a state subsidy available for solar plants. It can be checked at the website pronovo.ch. The amount of subsidy is already included in the calculated price of the solar panels and will be pre-financed and therefore drawn from the state by Solergy.
Solergy places the order with the sub-contractors to start the implementation only if 100% of the financing is secured. Should this be unsuccessful within the period the roof usage contract provides to Solergy, we call off the project and refund the purchase amounts to the investors, or if they wish their amounts can be reallocated to other projects.
The best profitability is reached if the plant remains where it is installed for the entire lifecycle. With an unlikely disappearance of Solergy before the end of the contract period, any possible new operator’s interest will be to keep the plant operational on the original roof, because dismantling the panels and moving them to another roof is almost as costly as building a new plant. There are two scenarios:
a) A successor to Solergy (another contractor or an electricity provider) continues operating the plant, selling the electricity, and paying dues to the investors and the roof owner, according to the original contract and the applicable laws.
b) The roof owner buys the PV plant, and compensates the investors with the residual panel value.
Yes. Your investment is an ownership of panels in a solar plant. You can sell it and it can also be inherited. In order for Solergy to be able to pay the proceeds to the new owner, please share with us their contact data and account number.
Are you the owner or co-owner of a property but not ready to bear the total cost of a solar installation?
